I was very lucky to win a workshop organised by Tyan Fashions at Millenia Walk. Think only got around 8 people selected ..
the 2 models were very pretty and slim and the clothes that they wore were very nice.. think Tyan carry various brands such as Vivienne Tam and their clothes were more of high end fashion.. I was browsing through their clothes and saw most of the price tags easily above $500 for a top.. their bags were like 1k, and after discount around $700...
Although there were less than 10 of us, the food that they prepared were more than enough.. and were placed on those nice 3-tiers plates ( as shown in the 2nd picture).. and the staff kept coming to us and asked if we want more drinks...served us perrier , and decorated the glass with real orchids...
Some of the points mentioned during the workshop ( haha, they gave us the hard copies):
Clothes - invest in a few quality pieces, keep our clothes simple and neat, dont be a logo fanatic, check the sale racks for classics and basics.
bags - coloured bags can really pop an outfit, avoid logo prints.
Shoes - should look expensive and match our outfit, invest in a casual pair for shopping, weekends and casual days, and a more elegant pair for dressier occasions. Do not buy a pair that's too big or too small just because its on SALE.
Accessories- Complete your look with accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, broaches, belts, scarves, sunglasses.
Gromming- get a good hair cut, never overdo your makup and keep manicure simple.
And we were each given a nice doorgift.
