Loving Watsons Promotions

Guess what I got from Watsons yesterday?

Dada.. each item only cost $2 and I got 1 item free for every 10 items purchased during this
promotional period.

Yes, I stocked up a few packs of my favourite Kodomo Baby Wipes because they are really cheap. In fact, these ultra-soft wipes are fragrance-free, and alcohol-free which is gentle on babies' and our skin. I always have a pack in the car to clean my hands and wipe off birds' droppings on the car. Plus the wipes do not dry up that easily after opening the pack, and the quality is pretty good. NTUC is selling $8.80 for a pack of 3 so that is why I always stock up when I see them on sale at Watsons. Think Kodomo Baby Wipes at $2 (or $1.80 if you buy 10 items and free 1 item) is the cheapest one can find for this product.

Check out the descriptions and ingredients..

Another thing which I picked up is this Lactacyd Intimate Travel Pack which I mentioned before. I have bought several boxes of this product in the past.. Now it even includes a $2 off coupon for your next 250ml Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash (Usual Price: $6.90). Previously, each the travel pack came with only a $1 off coupon.

Know why I kept buying this Lactacyd Intimate travel packs? Because I simply love these 2 products, read my review here. Plus a bundle of 3x Lactacyd Daily Feminine Wipes cost $5, so I am paying just $1 more to get 3 more travel size bottles of Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash (40ml each) which are great for travelling use. Smart right?

If you have yet to try my Holy Grail feminine care products - Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash and Lactacyd Daily Feminine Wipes, you can simply be smarter by redeeming for free samples (above 2 products) from this link-   http://goo.gl/uWOyW .. Both the samples will be delivered to your mailboxes, absolutely free.

Ok, do head down to Watsons and enjoy shopping!! ('',)

9th April 2009

Went to the airport with Ling to buy things at Watsons and also picked up my Clinique Clarifying moisture lotion 2 (400ml) (I tried the sample that the SA gave me sometimes 2 weeks ago..I find that its not bad,as this one does not contain alcohol (compared to their normal clarifying lotion 2) Sometimes doing skin analysis + giving out samples to customers = business opportunity for the company. The SA who served us was also very genuine and friendly.

Ok, 400ml is the airport edition.. The retail price for 200ml is $37 but airport selling 400ml at $39.10. What a big difference.. which mean I pay $2.10 more to get another 200ml. Its a bargain, I should say.
At Watsons, Ling bought 3 bottles of Cures and grab all 7 Tampax pearl boxes she saw.. Haha.. so exaggerating right?? But its really cheap, because no GST, minus $5 off $30 purchase, and can get free 1hr carpark coupon. The good news Cure is listed on the shelf at Watsons T3... think should have many people calling in to buy that is why they gave it a space.

Yes, we went to play the hammering game again...

And we got all Disney Collectibles.. Today then I realise the $25 voucher is not Cash voucher.. its $25 off for purchase of $250 Samsonite voucher. .. so we got 5 Disney collectibles... I think that is actually not the lousiest prizes, but the better ones.. better the vouchers come with a minimum spend and not a cash voucher which I initially thought it will be.

Think Roy enjoyed the hammering game.. it even broke the highest score... haha.. he hit quite a number of times to get so many disney cushions...

Later on, we went to Popeyes to eat fried chicken, cajun fries, chicken burger..but the business so good until they ran out of ice.. Without ice, the drinks really not cold at all lor...
Had a great evening at the airport!! Thanks Ling & Roy.

Watsons Promotions - Cure Natural Aqua Gel

After trying the samples from Cure, I went to buy the full size.

I think I should have purchased one of the cheapest Cure Natural Aqua Gel full siza (250g) that one can find in Singapore. For those of you who know this product, you should know that the retail price is $38, and there is no discount given for this product at Watsons. this product is not included in the 20% discount. From what i know, the only place I heard giving discount was at Nishino Pharmacy last month, offering 8% discount.

Well..guess how much I bought this for - $30.52 ( which is around 20% off) ..And its only available at Watsons at T3 because of the GST free promotion, plus $5 off for $30 purchase.

On top of that, I was given another 1 hour complimentary carpark coupon ( I now have 3!!)

As I spent more than $30 in a single receipt, I am entitled to play the hammering game to win sure win prizes, but I know high chance I would get the mickey mouse collectible (cushion + notepad) which I won 2 sets from my previous trip to Watsons at T3, so I opt to pay using my POSB everyday card to get a 3% rebate of $1.05... ( the 6% rebate ended yesterday, or else I could have $2 rebates instead of $1.. ;( haha, for those of you who are interested in playing the hammering game, just pay using Visa if your bill totalled to $30.. although prizes include $25 voucher.. but it really very difficult to hit, ...

I think if you were me, you may have asked me to try my luck.. but i already have 2 sets at home now.. Today I did not even go round to collect the 5 stamps to redeem for free lock.. because I have got 4 of the locks at home already..

I also bought another item that was having special promotion.. Oral B mouth rinse(500ml + 350ml pack), I think usual price is $7.50 but now they are selling at $6.50 .. and minus the 7% GST, the package cost only $6.. Chinatown's Ocean like selling $5.30-$5.50 for 350ml x 2 package..so I think this promotion is quite worth it!!!

** Actually Cure is not available at T3, but I had asked Watsons head office to help me transfer to T3 for my purchase.. and they transferred 3 bottles over.. and i just bought 1.. so there are 2 bottles left.. if you want, better call up to reserve or ask Watsons head office to do the transfer. because this GST free promotion last until 30 April 2009 if I am not wrong.

Well, the cheapest for Cure should be additional 10% off, and that is if you are an airport staff.

Hope this piece of information is useful!

Avene Soapless Gel Cleanser & Thermal Water Bundled Promotion

I finally bought this Avene Soapless Gel Cleanser & Thermal Water Bundled Promotion from Watsons, If I were to buy these 2 items separately, it will have cost me much more.. The thermal water spray 150ml is $20.30 and the soapless gel cleanser 200ml is $30.50 or $31.90 alone.. and I only paid $31.90 for both..Quite worth it!!! its like getting the thermal spray for free.. this bundled promotion is also available for other cleansers... buy the cleanser, get the thermal spray for free..

the ingredients for the soapless gel cleanser.

the SA was very friendly and generous in giving me samples.. Actually I wanted to try the instant soothing serum and the soothing mask which were highly raved by cotters.. but the SA said the sample for soothing mask was out of stock .. so she gave me other suitable sample for me, and 1 sample for my brother..

- Soothing serum 5ml
- Diacneal treatment care for acne-prone skin 5ml
- Protective hydrating cream with SPF15 5ml
- Tinted Cream 50+ SPF 5ml

So far, I only own 1 Avene product which is the travel size thermal water spray.. so now I have the chance to try others.. but their products seem not bad, suitable for sensitive skin like mine...

Changi Airport T3 GST Free Buys + Free Sure Win Prizes + Free Car Park Coupons

Today I went to our Changi airport with my mum because yesterday I saw at my dear's place a brochure of all the T3 special promotions...but what attract me was the GST free at Watsons + $5 off with every $30 purchase...

This is the brochure and discount coupon and a stamp & win card to get a free premium:
Photobucket

Here are my purchases ( helped my dear buy contact lens solutions and my aunt her Bawang shampoo)

haha.. I know I bought 7 tubes of toothpaste!! anyway, if I had bought all the above at downtown Watsons outlet, these would have cost me $ 76.95.

But guess how much savings I had at T3 Watsons outlets:

- 7% GST

- $10 off because every $30 spent entitle customers $5 off.

So in the end, I only paid $61.92 instead of $76.95 ( so saving of $15.03)

and I was given 2 free complimentary 1hr carpark coupon which will expiry until end of the promotion period ( 30th April 2009)!! and I got 2 chances to win sure-win prizes at Level 3 redemption booth. ( Actually I could have used my POSB everday card to get a further 6% rebate of $61.92..but because I wanted to test my luck at the redemption booth, so I use my Visa to pay the bill. because spend $30 by Visa or $60 by other means in a single receipt at any of the 27 participating outlets entitles customers to a chance...

Oh yes, I also got collected chops from 5 different outlets ( from Watsons, Cnady Empire and 3 other outlets) so that I can shun pian collect the free T3 exclusive premiums and a chance to win $500 Changi vouchers in the weekday draws..

Ok, with my Watsons receipts and fully stamped card.. we went to the T3 public area redemption booth... ( its playing those hammering arcarde game.. but the lower range you can hit, the better prizes you will get) I think 250-290/300 points is the highest rewards which is $25 voucher, got other denominations.. and the lousiest prize is disney collectibles which is a sure win in case you did not get any vouchers...

And my mum got 623 points ( too many points already) and I got 123 ( too little points) and we both got the lousiest prizes ... and when I acknowledged on the list, I realised that almost all the winners got the lousiest prizes, so its indeed difficult to hit not too hard or not too soft...

Here are my prizes:

(inside on the notepad)

One prize consists of a disney cushion + a notepad.. so me and my mum got 2 sets as we spent $30 x 2 using Visa. if we had used other mode of payment such as mastercard/nets/cash, we would only get 1 chance in this hammering game. haha.. instead of getting 6% rebates using my POSB everyday card, I got these... my 6% rebates is around $3.70 so the above cost $3.70 I doubt so.. haha, unless I win $25 voucher..then more worth it!!

And we also got 4 free lock pads for completing the stamp & win card. ( Each customer is entitle to redeem 2 lock pads each though) .. All the completed cards we dropped into the lucky draw boxes and every week there will be winners to win $500 Changi Vouchers.

Also got some snacks at Candy Empire ( also another GST free shop)

Photobucket

and before heading home, went to drink teh and eat toast at Wang Cafe ....

** Dont worry the brochures are easily available near lifts and walkway inside T3 .. ( the $5 discount coupon and stamp & win card are found on the brochure too.

Here is a list of participating outlets:
