I love the sweet apple scent of the serum. It is lightweight in texture and absorbs instantly into skin, making my skin feel really smooth and brighter right after application. I had only used the product for less than a week so its too early to see any obvious results. However, one thing I noticed is these days my makeup is more lasting as it does not oxidise that much. I am impressed with it!

One thing to note is SKIN.ERGETIC contains 50ml of product! That is considered quite a lot of product for a counter brand serum, normal ones I see are 30ml, so I think can share with your mother or sibling so that the product can be used up within 3 months.

Biotherm is quite thoughtful as they even provide a space on the label itself for us to write the date of activation..

Biotherm White D-Tox [Bright Cell] Press Launch

I was honoured to be invited to Biotherm White D-Tox [Bright Cell] Press Launch which was held at Yantra Restaurant at Tanglin Mall on 14 Jan 2010.

We indulged in a spread of delicious finger food and colorful drinks and mingled with each other before the start of the press launch.

We were presented to the latest White D-Tox [Bright Cell] range - the new breakthrough in skin whitening! The [Bright Cell] complex is said to be able to inhibit the reaction of PMEL 17, a protein element that causes the darkening of melanin, resulting in dark spots and dull skin. A bio-peel agent helps exfoliate dark spots on the skin surface while Pure Thermal Plankton (PTP) stimulates the birth of new cells.

^ The Phyto-code acts at the very first step of melanin genesis to fight the darkening process of the translucent melanin cocoon, by inhibiting the expression of PMEL17.

White D-Tox [Bright Cell] Instant brightening anti-dark circle eye base SPF20 (15ml, $70)

I have always been very concern about my dark circles and fine under eye lines, especially as I get older.. All these while, before applying my makeup, I would apply some makeup base on my entire face, except my eye areas.. (Ok, I know that a makeup base is important but I never apply my face makeup base on my eye areas .. although I make it a point to apply eye cream before applying any makeup and sometimes an eye primer on my eyelid, but never on my under eye areas... I doubt I can apply Urban Decay Primer Potion on my under eye areas right?) ... Thus when I saw White D-Tox[Bright Cell] instant brightening anti-dark circle eye base at the press launch, it immediately caught my attention... and to my surprise, we were each given a retail size tube of this promising product.. I tried it on my eyes and love it.. as it is not a concealer, it did not cover my dark circles.. but it does brighten my eye areas and make application of concealer on my under eye much easier. Another plus point is it comes with SPF20 to protect our eye areas against the harmful UVA and UVB.

^ No editing done to the pictures. ( Excuse my terrible dark circles) .. although still can see my dark circles, but after applying the white D-Tox eye base, my eye areas brighten a bit...

Biotherm’s White D-Tox [CELLULAR] Gallery @ Centrepoint Atrium ( 4th April 2009)

I was very happy and lucky to be selected by Cozycot to attend Biotherm’s White D-Tox [CELLULAR] Workshop @ Centrepoint Atrium on 4th April 2009.

Before the start of the event, we were served light refreshments:


these sushi were delicious.. I ate both flavours, it has a fried ebi in the middle.. ( see the leave-like bowl, at first I thought we were suppose to take the whole bowl , then I tried to take..but unable to.. haha, we were supposed to just take the sushi itself .. later I also saw others trying to take the plate out too .. I am not the only one!haha)




These lovely sandwiches were so cute and nice! Ham with cheese on top of cucumber..

Fruit punch were also served to us in mini cute plastic cups..

Meet this lovely lady: Ms Cassandra ( Biotherm's trainer)


She shared with her on some of Biotherm products and told us that all biotherm products include this special ingredient called Pure Thermal Plankton ( PTP in short) It has exceptional soothing properties and proven regenerative powers. The products are enriched with PTP to activate skin's defenses to help prevent ageing too.

3 colours were used on the model, and it does make a difference on the model's face when I took a closer look at the model's face after the presentation.

this product is specially created for Asian skin, and it comes with 5 shades to correct specific skin tone concerns.

On the live demonstration:

Ivory (Yellow) was used first on the model's eyes areas, and it does cover dark circles a little.. this product is safe and even suitable to be used on our delicate eye areas. It can also be applied on the corners of our nose.

White was the next color that was used on the model's T-zone. It does give an instant brightening effect, making the T-zone less dull.

Next Coral ( pink) was used on the model's cheeks, it gives a luminous effect as it contains light-reflecting properties in it as well.

As I had makeup on, I did not remove my makeup to test the makeup base on my face. however, we were all given some to test on the back of our hands during the presentation.. It was very blendable and smooth. We were invited to test the products on our faces too.. And my friend tried the product and love it that she bought the product on the spot, as a special deal was given exclusive to cotters during the event. So she got a free deluxe size whitening cleanser as she purchased the makeup base on the spot.
