Farrer Park Restuarant ( Another Nice Fish Steamboat)

Today, brother brought mum and me to eat fish steamboat ..at first I was thinking he wanted to bring us to tian wai tian.. but no.. he said it was at Bishan.. and he had eaten there a couple of times and said the pomfret steamboat was nice.. da da.. so there we went...

Besides this zhi char stall, there were also other stalls such as frog leg porridge, bbq wings, bbq food stuffs (stingray, sotong etc) ...

We only ordered a pai gu wang and the fish steamboat.. when my mother asked if we wanted to order vegetables.. the staff's first reaction was no need vegetables .. then my brother also agreed dont have to order vegetables because there will be alot of vegetables..

This is the steamboat ...

But inside the steamboat, there is no fish at all.. only vegetables, seaweed, yam, tofu, dang gui, ginger... where is the fish???

haha, they separated the pomfret and the soup.. They charged according to the weight of the fish.. here is 650g portion, and the price of the steamboat is inclusive of the fish..

When I saw the huge amount of vegetables ( puay leng) under the fresh pomfret, then I know why the staff said no need to order vegetables.. really lots of vegetables... We can even refill for the yummy soup...

When we finished eating the steamboat, the fire was still burning.. because it used charcoal instead of the candle type ... maybe that was one of the reasons that made the steamboat nice!

We were very full .. it was a satisfying meal ...

The big plate of vegetables + pomfret + steamboat cost only $39!
The Pai Gu Wang $10.
